Design combines my two loves—art and organization. When I stumbled upon a job description as a junior in high school I knew it was meant for me.
Once upon a designer…
After graduating from Ringling College of Art and Design, I cut my teeth as an in-house designer at a loc al architectural firm, taking on any graphic design project I could get my hands on. It wasn’t long until I gravitated to an interactive agency where I cultivated designs for web and mobile interfaces. I excelled at working alongside developers, copywriters and project managers—and really found my voice for action-oriented aesthetics.
The bright lights of NYC called and I found a place at CBS Local where I developed holistic user experiences across a full product suite, working hand-and-hand with UX and technical teams in a beautifully iterative fashion. My calm focus and orderly process have pushed the creative direction and helped me meet every design deadline set before me.
Since then, I have taken on many more freelance projects that have allowed me to work one-on-one with clients to help shape their brand’s visual language and effectively tell their stories.
In a nutshell…
Yes, my designs are clean and compelling but the process of working with me is just as seamless. My years of design experience working with cross-functional teams of UX, content and technical strategists on web, mobile web, and app products has solidified my collaboration, organizational and communications skills. Working in tandem with UX and technical teams in agile development environments that overlap strategy, design, and development phases is old hat for me. I thrive on the back-and-forth creation that propels the best from every discipline.
